Antique reclaimed French oak flooring planks carefully milled from century-old reclaimed French oak beams. Once we slice these planks from massive beam stock, VE goes through a rigorous process in which we undulate and sculpt the surface, heavily brush each board and then carefully age the planks to achieve the sought after cognac coloration that makes this floor so unique. We can provide these planks in solid and engineered flooring products from thicknesses ranging from 3/4″ to 1 1/4″ thickness. The French oak planks are then finished with a hard wax oil which makes them easy to maintain and reveals all the nuances and character of these antique oak flooring boards.
