Flemish Gray Limestone – perfect light grey limestone for your next flooring project

We just received our first batch of this stone from a small family-run quarry in Southern France.  As the name suggest it is a grey limestone, but not just plain grey but a perfect homogenous light grey without the typical limestone encapsulation.  With pillowed and chiseled edges and a smooth textured surface, this stone will lend itself for a variety of flooring projects.  The stone is medium dense and will hold up great in high traffic areas such as kitchen, living rooms, laundry rooms and hallways.  At this point I can not verify the outdoor use of this limestone floor.  We will have to wait for technical data from our lab.
