Ancient Jerusalem Stone

A dramatic uneven surface and a stunning warm color range from sand and gray to rose and gold make this reclaimed limestone a perfect choice for every room in the house. These pitted and time-worn slabs have been used for centuries as pavement on sidewalks and basements as well as flooring in ancient malls, churches and palaces. The antique Jerusalem limestone is reclaimed up to 8” thick, which we cut down to 1 ¼”. This is called the first cut, which yields the original surface and sides and is easily installed in a regular mortarbed. Our slabs come in various dimensions and work best when installed in an open or Roman pattern.
